New Leadership Delivering Results for Our Party
Dave Miller has been active in Republican Politics since 1980. He worked on the campaign of Lewis Lehrman for Governor campaign in New York State (Still has his trademark Red Suspenders from that race). Dave stayed busy in local elections while working for what would end up being a 28 year career serving the Government. In 1992, he managed his first State Assembly race in suburban Rochester. Since then Dave has worked on numerous campaigns from city counicl levels to working on the campaigns of State Assemblymen and State Senators as well as members of the House of Representatives and the US Senate. Dave even assisted former Governor of New York, George Pataki, defeat Mario Cuomo in 1994-1995.
Dave's wife Amy, a cardiothorasic surgical nurse praticioner, accepted a position in California in 2010. So the Millers loaded up and headed to California where Dave continued HIS political advocacy working hard to advance the Republican Party in California. Dave joined the Solano Republican Party in 2011 and became an officer of the Central Committee in 2013.
In 2016 Dave decided to run for the State Assembly. While he was not ultimately the victor of that race, Dave did garner more votes than any Republican in that district had in decades.
Seeing the state of the California Republican party in 2020, and being urged to run by many who had worked with Dave over the years, Dave made the decision to throw his hat in the ring and run to be the Chairman of the California Republican Party.
